Re-design and re-purposing of Fox Chase's websiteAdditional Screenshots:
Re-design and re-purposing of 2000 pages of content into a new 600-page information architecture.
Main tasks:
- creating a PHP/MySQL CMS for in-house writers to populate the new pages of the website,
- creating template from psd files,
- creating Cascading stylesheet and xhtml for homepage, landing pages, and content pages,
- addressing usability, accessibility, and cross-browsing issues,
- integrating flash videos and podcast features,
- developing various flash AS3 applications,
- developing and populating various microsites for research labs and departments.

Re-design and re-purposing of online magazine content with DrupalAdditional Screenshots:
This major development project included:
- transferring data (roughly 2000 pages of content) from a MySQL 4 to the Drupal tables with MySQL 5,
- creating a submission management system for visitors to submit fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and artwork, and for editors to select content for the upcoming edition,
- developing a submission system with Ubercart and Drupal with which visitors can pay to submit their piece for yearly contest,
- developing an issue-oriented structure for the content derived from the optional Drupal book module.
This implementation of Drupal allows editors to perform updates and to create new content without advanced technical knowledge.

This Drupal theme is an attempt to convey the true crime / investigative journalism atmosphere present in George Anastasia's books.

This project was a personal challenge. Picking cards and interpreting them later requires a fair amount of user interface RIA development as well as back end development for the data. This application was coded in pure actionscript (no Flash IDE) and compiled with the Free Flex SDK. The settings for each reading are loaded from XML files, and so the same application can work with an infinite number of spreads (5 cards, three cards, 24 cards, ...) and with different sets of cards (Major cards only, minor cards only, major and minor cards, only one color, ...)
The interpretation side of this application queries Google for the interpretation of the cards.
